Assistant Project Manager – Water/Wastewater
Responsibilities
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the successful execution of water and wastewater construction projects, collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in overseeing all phases of assigned projects, from planning to completion.
- Supporting the development and management of project budgets and schedules in coordination with estimators and project controls teams.
- Conducting financial tracking and analysis to support cost efficiency and revenue optimization.
- Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitoring adherence to health and safety standards, quality control procedures, and project specifications.
- Providing administrative and technical support to the Project Manager as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of experience in water and wastewater sectors of construction projects.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in project documentation and communication.
- Familiarity with construction techniques, specifications, drawings, and materials.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control practices.
